Salary Range: $16-$18/hour
Site Hours of Operation: Mon-Fri, 8 AM- 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct customers to appropriate disposal areas.
- Inspect incoming loads for prohibited materials.
- Operate compactor.
- Receive and account for payments from Customers
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the site.
- Monitor and record waste volumes and types.
- Enforce site rules and safety procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve basic inquiries.
- Some Excel data entry
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic recordkeeping and math skills.
- Problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and safety awareness.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform manual labor.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Visual and auditory acuity for equipment operation and safety.
- Ability to remain alert, follow instructions, and work independently.
- Ability to work well in slow-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow instructions
